The Holos Group is actively engaged in a number of Action Research projects in collaboration and co-creation with our global knowledge-web of partners. Each project has a meta-system perspective and aims to explore an aspect underpinning and accelerating the the building of global consciousness for an integrated world.

Emergent leadership for emergent times
Overview: We are living in increasingly global, dynamic and non-linear times. Existing models of leadership are out-dated and can no longer meet the rapidly changing dynamics of our times. But, what leadership or approaches to leading is required? What are the stages of individual and collective leader consciousness are needed? And what are the most appropriate approaches for mapping and expanding individual and collective leader consciousness in order to best navigate our times? This action research projects seeks to explore these questions as each relates to the identification of emergent leadership principles for emergent times.

The role of organisations as community builders
Overview: What are the guiding principles of healthy, integrated and vibrant communities? And how do organisations shift from the traditional Newtonian and mechanistic approaches to 'human resource' coordination to authentic collaboration and the fostering of healthy, diverse and evolving organisational communities? This project seeks to explore the guiding principles that underpin the experience of authentic collaboration within communities and how these principles can be re-discovered and applied within groups, organisations, and society at large.

New stories for an integrated world
Overview: It could be argues that the dominant global story of our time is one of competition, fragmentation and despair. How do new stories emerge - of hope, integration and collaboration - from this place? In concert with communities around the world, we are exploring new stories that will provide a sustainable future for all humanity.
