ABOUT THIS TRAINING
Art of Organisational Innovation, Change & Learning is a training that arose in response to the urgent need to develop high performance organisational cultures underpinned by more emergent approaches to harnessing workplace innovation for sustained change and transformation.
Our focus together is the exploration of new possibilities in organisational innovation, change and learning.
This two-day program is rooted in the Art of Hosting (AofH) family of facilitation and leadership practices. You will leave with an in-depth understanding of participatory leadership and small and large group engagement technologies critical to your success in developing high performance organisational cultures.
Art of Hosting Conversations That Matter is based on the assumption and experience that human beings have enormous untapped wealth and resilience and that the sustainable solutions lie in the wisdom between us. Samantha (Sam) Fernando
Sam is the Director of Potential Spaces Australia, a knowledge-web consultancy specialising in executive leadership development. Sam has 20 years of business experience within the Learning and Development and Organisational Development fields. Her consulting experience crosses the financial, professional service, banking and executive education fields both within Australia and Asia. An experienced individual and team coach with a passion for creating extraordinary team performance, Sam has deep subject matter expertise in the design and development of key learning & development and OD initiatives, with a focus on people, self-leadership, adaptation leadership and leadership development. Sam is currently completing her Masters in Integrative and Transformative studies.
Dr. Richard Harmer
Richard is the Managing Director of The Holos Group and has more than 10 years experience working with organisations and leaders at all levels. Richard has extensive experience in strategic organisational consulting, large group engagement processes, facilitation and training, and executive-level coaching and mentoring. An entrepreneur at heart, Richard has worked for several start-up companies, one of which was listed in BRW's Fast Starters. Richard has experience in co-creating learning experiences with clients aimed at developing more engaged and meaningful workplaces. With a background in what makes people ‘tick’, Richard is an organisational and health psychologist having completed his Masters degree at Swinburne University of Technology. Richard has also completed his PhD in individual identity formation and development with a particular focus on spirituality, spiritual practices and how people make meaning in life.
Brad Krauskopf
Brad Krauskopf is the founder of Hub Melbourne and is leading the regional expansion of Hub in Oceania in 2010. Brad is an Australian entrepreneur who has lived, worked and studied across 4 continents. In 2008 and 2009 he undertook a learning journey, immersing himself in the social innovation space in Europe and completing a master at IE in Europe where he was a finalist for the international AMBA student of the year. He has founded and led two businesses in Australia, one of which was listed in BRWs Fast Starters in 2007. He is a speaker and facilitator of Open Space and World Café and works with organizations to develop sustainable business models. Recently he was involved with the start-up of Hub Madrid, was a chapter president of Net Impact and worked with Global Observatory, a strategic media hub initiated for COP15. Brad aims to start and foster socially innovative businesses that benefit local communities.
Dr. Anton Mischewski
Anton is a catalyst for increasing civic engagement in areas that matter to the community. His is currently working to increase the participation of Victorian seniors in all aspects of the policy process. He is doing this by hosting group engagement processes that tap into people’s collective wisdom and activate their passions to take meaningful action. He has over fifteen years experience in social research, evaluation and policy in public and community health, volunteering, disability and ageing sectors in Australia and New Zealand. Anton has a PhD in sociology and cultural studies from La Trobe University and is certified as an Iyengar Yoga teacher. He will often be found drawing inspiration from numerous poets and writing poetry himself.
Mary-Alice Arthur
Mary-Alice Arthur the Director of SOAR, A New Zealand based organisation with expertise and experience spanning both pubic and private sectors. Mary-Alice is a facilitator for inspired change who’s worked with all types of organisations and groups to uncover their own unique formulas for inspiration, transformation and success. She is New Zealand’s leading narrative practitioner, and at the heart of her work is the practice of recognising, working with and transforming the personal and group stories, conversations and inquiries that impact on success. Her special love is large group work and she has over 50 conferences, events and change projects to her credit. Mary-Alice works with organisations large and small to to create an experiences that are inspired, interactive and provide a deep foundation for their future.
